Celebrating one year of @glowgirlcolorbar today and feeling really happy, proud, and grateful. This first year of business brought lots of learning, my dream of being a vendor at a market, the cutest salon on wheels, and a book of business that provides me with the most fun conversations and encounters with some special people. Thank you for all of the encouragement and support, I cannot wait to see what year two holds 🖤

apparently summer isn’t over just yet

summer comes to a close and you won’t see me in anything but a black sweater until next may ✌🏼

My summer and life, in general, look different these days. The last time I was westbound on 70 was in February, which is insane. I woke up yesterday missing the mountains so decided to take a cruise when I realized I owned a vehicle with a bed. I quickly packed an overnight bag, pillow, bedding, snacks, and searched for the coolest temps in Colorado and when I saw that Leadville had evening lows in the forties, hit the road solo. The quick trip provided me time to think, beautiful views, helpful people (couldn’t find my gas tank), and some clarity away from the noise of the city. This is me after my first night sleeping in #TheGlowmobile 🖤

@glowgirlcolorbar was created nine months ago because I felt the airbrush tanning industry was lacking a curated, experience-driven brand that not only provides clients with a healthy tanning alternative, but educates them on the long-term benefits of practicing healthy sun exposure. I consider it our responsibility to guide clients to the best sun protection on the market so don’t hesitate to reach out with product questions and for recommendations. Sunscreen is, by far, the most impactful and important product in your bathroom. Don’t forget, the tan that you’ll achieve on vacation will fade in two weeks, but the damage will be eternal. One year ago I was frustrated and unhappy with my life and what felt like a complete lack of purpose and a lot of toxicity. Eight months ago I created @glowgirlcolorbar and have enjoyed every last second of my time spent building my small business. Four months ago I knew it was time to take a bigger step and decided to build a salon. #theglowmobile is in the shop and about begin a twelve week build-out (!). I’m so excited to see the dreamiest little salon on wheels come to life after months of thought and planning. Looking back, I’m grateful for that challenging time because it drove me to create something that has brought me such great pleasure and happiness. Thank you to my clients who believe in my business and keep coming back, my friends who have cheered me on and spread the good word, and my family for all the feedback, love, and encouragement. It’s been a wild ride and we’re not even on wheels yet 🖤

a dreamy, rainy sunday

Spring Fetch Market is a wrap for @glowgirlcolorbar! Waking up today exhausted, inspired, and excited. We tripled our sales since our last market, met many fun new people, and our booth neighbors were a joy to be with all weekend. Special thanks to @robjsimpson who was the best greeter, beverage pourer, all around sidekick and to the sweet friends who came out to support me. Thank you @thisisfetch and thank you to all of my new and old clients, you make this all so much fun ✨
